Hello;

I’M NEW AND I NEED ADVISE!!!

I’m an NYC Male in my late twenties and I’m seriously considering having work on my face. When I went to a consultation I original thought of getting the fat sucked out of my cheeks and getting a chin implant, in order to get a chiseled, lean look to my face. But the doctor said I should get a Mandibular Implant and Removal of the Buccal Pads (removing the fat from my cheeks). I agreed with because I do in-fact have a weak jaw line. The mandibular implant will enhance my chin and my jaw line.

Now this is an expensive procedure but what I’m really worried about is any after affects that the surgery might leave. After all, from what I understand the doctor will be probably drilling titanium screws into my jaw bone. I very concerned with this because of all the nerve endings in the jaw bone due the roots of the teeth, etc.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE ME ABOUT MANDIBULAR IMPLANTS IS???

SHOULD I GO WITH THE MANDIBULAR IMPLANT OR SHOULD I LESSEN THE SEVERITY OF THE SURGERY AND JUST GO WITH THE CHIN INPLANT???

The Removal of the Buccal Pads is not an issue for me, but if anyone has something to say on it please share your thoughts.

By the way, I’m happy with the NYC surgeon I found (Dr. G. Beraka) but does anyone have any New York City surgeons they would recommend???????
