I dont know whether anyone has heard or experienced the FAMI (ie fat autologous muscle injections) fat facial transfer procedure - it is fairly recent I think - pioneered by Dr Roger Amar - its supposedly much more reliable than ordinary fat transfer - it doesnt get reabsorbed to the same extent and is injected into all the facial expression muscles - so they dont have to overdo the amount injected
as what goes in stays - the website is www.fami.us - good before and after pictures - it looks preferable and more likely to have a more reliable outcome than other methods to me - its really depressing to hear of people having procedures done with the supposedly "top" surgeons which turn out disasterous - who can you trust? I had a dreadful cheek implant job many years ago with a top London surgeon which I then had to have redone at full cost by another top London surgeon and its still far from great - this is why I've waited a long time to have any more work done and will select the surgeon very carefully and pray!!
