Liposuction – how long should the area be hard?

I have Liposuction on my stomach 4 weeks ago – the area is till hard
My doctor said it was ok and the swelling and hardness would go away.
Help is this normal?

Various areas can get almost like a piece of wood afterwards and it can persist for weeks or even months. But it always returns to normal or basline texture but without the fat.

I had full body lipo several years ago - yeah, the neck to knees stuff they tell you NEVER to do - and my inner thighs were like rocks for three months! But it change the entire chape of my body and at the time I never dreamed i'd turn into a gym resident full time...(I did, but later on in life.)

So Christopher... I think your doc is right. It ill get better and you don't have any reason to be worried, at least not until you're at least six months post op.
