I had a bodylift 1yr ago I am noticing I have been having pain from lower back to bottom of my feet by that i mean it hurts to take steps even first thing in a.m. I have also had boughts of feelings of hips falling asleep & no matter what I do I can't make the feeling go away it eventually leaves on its own. I am still numb around my scar & top of hip I also have boughts of severe itching in the middle of my thighs & around scar line so bad I get broken cappalaries from scratching so hard. My scar on my back sometimes get super tender to the touch. I have been looking every where on the net & cant find anything on bodylifts except for the surgery itself. please help!!!!!!!!

everything you're describing sounds like it's all related to the sensory nerves that were disrupted during your body lift. this is what is known as dysesthesia.
since the nerves were cut during surgery, they are still trying to recovery and that is probably what is causing your numbness, itching, and sensitivity.
the nerves regenerate at the rate of about 1 mm per day from the spinal cord, so you can imagine it's going to take some time before it gets to your thighs and lower legs. i have seen sensation return for up to 3 years after surgery, but it is possible that the nerves dont recover any more.
there's nothing you can do to speed it along, but you may be more comfortable if you avoid caffeine (which can make nerves more sensitive). there is also achance that taking vitamin e supplements and/or an aspirin a day will also help make you more comfortable.
let me know what happens...
