Hi everyone,I've had nine meso treatments and i'm not impressed at all with my results, but on my third treatment my Dr. preformed a subcision on my bottom. It was bruised like hell and filled with fluid and had to be drained a couple of times which he told me was not uncommon. The results are amazing! I would highly recommend it,but i think they only do it on deep indentations not on all the areas that have cellulite.

That is great! I've been researching subcision as well... One thing that concerns me though is that it destroys your skins' support mechanism, so what does that mean? Your skin loses its elasticity as you age anyways, so does this just double the aging process? Did your doc say anything about this?

Hi mandajill,Who told you that it destroys your skins support machanism? My Dr. didn't say anything about that! Have you done meso? did it work for you?

Hi bythebeachmom!

I read it in an article on the internet. Here is the website:

www.surface-med.com/treatments/cellulite.htm

I've read so many things though... Who knows what is true and what is hype? No, I have not tried meso. I was scheduled to this past Spring, but after finding this site and reading all the posts on it, cancelled my appointment.

I read stuff in magazines about the latest and greatest treatments, but then get on the internet and scare myself away from all of them!

Let me know if you inquire about the subcision issue with your doc, and what he says.
