View Full Version : Neck and Facial Liposuction - Help

Please help. The physician took way too much
fat out of my face. He sold me on a bill of goods!
I found out later that NO ONE in their 50's should
have facial liposuction. Infact, most excellent
plastic surgeons will NOT liposuction faces. I found
out too late, that he is not a Board Certified Plastic
Surgeon.
My face is permanently damaged and looks like a
burn victim, due to extreme lipoatrophy.
I am presently having filler injections, but they are
uneven and very, very expensive.
Does anyone have any ideas for correction. I am told
that this may be a life-long process.
I will NEVER have any more elective surgery. My face
was in good shape, prior to this physcian's brilliant
idea of lipo-sculpting.
Please share any names or help!
Thanks.

I would hire an attorney. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. But act quickly and talk to an attorney or two.

You could have fat grafting to replace the fat. They would take fat from one area of your body (e.g. abdomen) and reinject it into the face.

Hi,
My heart goes out to you since I went through a similar situation ten years ago. Your best option is to get fat grafting. There will be no chance of rejection or further damage (at least if you have the right doctor). The doctor who fixed me up is in Valley Forge, PA. It took 14 graftings and a lot of money to make it right and fortunately it is still ok today. I also went through an incredible amount of physical and psychological pain. I don't know if I could say his name in this forum but his initial are DM. I have my life back because of him.
I wish you luck and you will be in my prayers. Don't give up.

Thanks so much. This information is very important to me.
I will contact this physician, as none in my town have EVER
seen this before. I am being treated with injections, as
I cannot undergo any more surgery.
You are right that it is a devastating process.
The physician who did the damage takes absolutely no
interest or responsibility. My treating physicians
are continually shocked by this physician's lack of concern.
It is amazing how one person can take your life away, and
act as if nothing happened.
I appreciate your kindness and support.

If you should decide to see a lawyer - PLEASE make sure you have him get an EXPERT to testify. It will make all the difference in your case. I lost my case because my lawyer did not enter the "Expert" in time to use him for our case.
Take care.

Thanks, Grafter. I already have 3 expert witnesses.
My law firm informed me of the importance of this
immediately, and they have taken care of this.
There is also a negligent, unwanted, unwarranted
surgery, involved, that has left me disfigured.
The entire course of events have been a nightmare, and
no one can believe that this physician is still
practicing. Hopefully that will change.
He has NO interest in talking settlement, so a
huge lawsuit is in the making. He and his
insurance company have no idea of the trauma
caused by his negligence...or they could care less.
Right now, each day, I am dealing with restoration,
caused by this physician's complete negligence.
Thanks, again. I will be in touch with your
treating physician.
