Hi Rae,
Yes, my friend just had it done by Dr. Fechner. The recovery is a lot longer than they say (at least for her it was) but the results are looking good at this point. It has been 2 weeks and her turkey neck is totally gone. She said it was very, very painful and the feeling of extreme tightness was for about a week. There was no way she could go back to work for these 2 weeks. Now she could. But full recovery takes a while. Some friends and I had met with Dr. Fechner and we liked what we saw and heard.
I am probably going to do it...just saving up the $$$. Feel free to contact me at janfitz117@aol.com.

Yes I had my LL lift done in Waltham by Dr. Fechner at the end of January. I had it done on a Tuesday and was back to work on Monday. I did have to tell people about it because I was obviously still very swollen. The major swelling went down after 2 weeks. I did not take the pain medication and managed through it with just Tylenol. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Dr. Fechner.

Is LL the same as Thermage?

NO WAY! It is a cut, pull, stitch facelift, complete with swelling, some bruising, etc. Like a traditional facelift, just on a smaller scale. A version of the SMAS lift. You have incisions almost identical to the trad., except they do not go down into the hairline at the neck, nor do you have drains afterwards.
I had it, and am very happy with mine, had it 6 months ago.:D
