Looking for some info on thigh lifts. If you've had one or know someone who's had one, please share the results.

hey there,
i am still in recovery from having an inner thigh lift, lipo from my waist to my knees, and a breast reduction. i have to wear this compression garment which is sometimes my best friend and sometimes my worst enemy. most of the time, i absolutely hate it. i have to wear it for 6 weeks post op, but i think it will really be worth it. at least, i hope so. i think the garment is more for the lipo than for the thigh lift. i wish i could tell you more about the recvoery, but i'm only 9 days post op. i will try to write more as things progress. but i will tell you this....i can already tell a big difference in my legs. they are totally swollen, my ankles, calves, feet, thighs, butt, everything is swollen, but the inner thighs look great thus far. :)

Thanks for replying. I hope you're doing well.
I'm six weeks post upper and lower bleph and a little bit of lipo under my chin. Believe me, it's well worth it. It took lots of healing time, but I'd do it again in a minute.
The lipo recovery hurt worse than my eyes. As a matter of fact, I had no eye pain whatsoever, just a LOT of swelling and bruising.
Good luck and please keep us informed as to your progress. A thigh lifit is on my wish list!

Hmm, that sounds like a lot... was it all in one go, or did you go for several procedures? I want a lot of fat removed from waist to knee, and since it says 10 lbs. is the maximum you can safely remove with one procedure some folks have to go in for two smaller operations to reduce the risk...

this was all in one day long surgery. i was literally in the operating room from 9am until 5:30pm. i am now exactly 3 weeks post op and feel great. 80% of the swelling has gone down. i'm still wearing my gown. but starting with week 4, i only have to wear it part time. my breast and thigh incisions are healing nicely. the breast scars right now are barely barely noticeable, so i don't i'll ever have a problem dealing with the way they look. the thigh ones are just a tad thicker and more purple, but that is expected, so i hear. though i wanted my doctor to concentrate more on the lipo, it was the last thing on his list, and he told me that he was going to be too time restricted to suck out as much as i wanted him to. and i guess now that's ok. i finally look proportioned, which is great, i've gone down 1 size, dropped 10 lbs, and still have more to look forward to.
