Does Lasik hurt? How soon after surgery will I be able to see?

Your doctor will put eyedrops in your eyes before the Lasik procedure to numb the eyeball. You wont feel pain, but you will feel pressure as the instrument is applied to the eyeball to keep it from moving during the operation.
Afterwards, you may experience burning and watery eyes for a few hours. Most people already have improved vision immediately after the surgery, and certainly by the next day.
