buttock implants

Im considering getting buttock implants and would love to get any information from someone who has had this done. Are you pleased with the results? Is recovery time lengthy? Painful? Is it worth it?

I'm thinking about doing it in Venezuela at a place called caribean international plastic surgery centre. They use the new soft cohesive gel implants...

There are a few ways to contour the buttock area. Buttock implants are one way... The implants are permanent until removed, like breast implants, and like breast implants can be filled with silicone, saline, or cohesive gel which is silicone but a little firmer. The recovery can be quite uncomfortable, and you'll be spending a couple of weeks lying on your stomach or sides. Everyone I've spoke to had this done, though, has been very pleased.

You can also add fullness to the buttocks with fat transfer, whereby fat is suctioned out from one area of the body like the abdomen, and then reinjected into the butttocks. The results can last from a few months to a few years.

Finally, a buttock lift can raise the butt cheeks. This involves a big incision along the top of the butt from one hip to the other, removal of excess skin, repositioning of the buttocks, and alot of stitches. Butt lifts can be beneficial for someone who has lost a lot of weight and has loose, hanging skin.

I have heard that it is one of the most painful procedures to have. I am considering microfat grafting and I have posted the following message in this forum:

I am looking for a plastic surgeon in South America. I want to get microfat grafting done to my buttocks and liposuction to my neck at the same time. I have read through some message boards about Mexico $800 for lipo in 4 areas and $1000 for the buttocks augmentation. Costa Rica and Columbia? Anyone have any info for me on the best doctors and prices? What about Brazil? :D
