My name is Kayla and I'm from Winnipeg, MB Canada. I'm a highschool student and for my final English exam everyone has to write about a topic that interests them and put it into an article form, which includes stats and interviews. I chose to do my paper on Plastic Surgery. Anyone who has received cosmetic surgery in the past would you please be kind enough to fill out the following survey. I do not need your name, but would like to know your age and location. Even if you are very vague and just put your country that is fine too. How old were you when you had a cosmetic operation for the first time?
What did you get done?
Where did you get the operation done? (Surgical Centre, Doctor's Office, Hospital..etc)
Approximatley how long did it take to fully recover from it?
How long was the initial procedure?
At any point were you nervous or scared?
What made you get cosmetic surgery?
Were there any outside influences (ie media, friends, family) that influenced you in that direction?
Are you happy with your results?
Did your operation boost your confidence or make you more self councious?
How did your friends/family react to your operation?

Do you know of any "horror" stories involving plastic surgery. (Things going wrong before and/or after)
What is your opinion on Gastric By-Pass Surgery? Do you consider it a form or cosmetic surgery or should it be used only for clinically obese?
