Hey!

Im a compelte wreck! At least I think I am! I've looked like this for as long as I can remember and I dunno why I have no jawline, chin and well, you can see the pictures... I want to do something about it, but being a full-time student currently I don't have the money for a cosmetic surgery.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

My e-mails smixel@shaw.ca if you wanna pm me!

Thanks!

I live in Southern California, and I found a wonderful surgeon who specialises in the areas I wanted for my surgery. He is very skilled and I found him after much trial and error. I found him through a great guidance service that helped me to address all of my questions and concerns and helped me find several docotors that were right for me and my needs. I went on consultations and then I was able to decide for myself how I wanted to proceed and which doctor I wanted with no pressure.Helen Elliott Enterprises is the greatest resource for anyone who wants guidance for cosmetic procedures. You should call her at (888) 433-9091. It is a toll-free number and Helen Elliott is in Beverly Hills as are her doctors. Her website is www.helenelliott.com and has some great info. Please call her and let me know what happans. I wish you the best and good luck!

An implant is probably NOT going to give you the amount of agumentation you may really want and need. I would guess you want a stronger chin and a heavier squared off masculine looking jaw?? That may take playing with the bone a bit. This is ortho-mandibular surgery and it's a very specialized area. Talk to three or four docs and tell them what you really want. Your upper face and mouth are nice. With the re-do of the jaw and chin you're going to be a serious stud! I know you don't believe me now, but I'm telling you the truth! Sometimes, depending on insurance coverage and the reason your face is like this, you may get your carrier to help pay the costs because they're perhaps correcting a birth defect - as opposed to a purely cosmetic surgery. It cannot hurt to ask and have your surgeon ask for approval from the carrier. Worst case is they refuse and you pay out of pocket. Best case is that it's covered to some extent.

I've been in this business - plastic surgery - for fifteen years now. I've seen this type of surgey change people's lives for the better. Much better!

Go start interviewing docs. I hope you're near a major medical school or at least in a major metro area. They guys who can do this kind of surgical magic are not going to be found in the "Blue" states or in Middle-America. This is major stuff and the top guys will probably be found in NY, LA and maybe San Francisco or Miami.

Keep us posted on your interviewing process and tell us what you learn about various treatment optons, etc. There's a lot of knowlege here and we'll probably be able to guide you in your search for the right surgeon...

All the very best...

Mark In LA

PS: There's no way you can prepare for the change this type of correction will make in your life, your self esteem, and life. It's going to be exciting as hell and you're going to wind up one very handsome man when it's all done.
