I've started using Rogaine about 3 weeks ago, and by now my hair loss significantly increased. I've never been lossing as much hair as I'm now.

So I was wondering: Is it normal? Should I stop using Rogaine? If I don't stop and continue the use, for how long the loss will continue?

Thanks for any information,

Alina

I have now been using Rogain for women for over a year and can tell you that my hair is healthier, longer (past my bra strap) I had worn my hair real short for years because it was so thin on top.
In my personal opinion, I feel that you should see a Dr. about your hair problem as there may be other reasons connected to your hair loss. Also stress plays a mayor part to our skin as well as our hair.
Good Luck

Hi Lydia,

I suggest you should try a natural remedy. The hair recovery cream from I brought from this organic onlne shop works for me. I have hair regrowth where it is thinning. There was some hair loss at the begining. It began to stablise later when my skin got used to the cream.

Yup I have strenghten by weak hair and is Regrowing Hair. Yes.

I am trying their milia cream.

Minoxidil (Rogaine) users can expect a small period of shedding at first. This is normal and should subside. Minoxidil is a growth stimulant so the shedding you are encountering is actually the drug rushing the hair into the anagen (or growing) phase. While it may suck at first, it is totally natural and beneficial.

These forums are great and have a LOT of information on hair growth:

so are you saying that it is normal? given the circumstance thatthey are using minoxidil? coz ive read it in some forums that if the Hair Loss Treatment you use make your hair shed than grow, it may be not the right hair treatment for you, where youd end up with balding hair instead of growing one..

thanks for the link by the way..

I think u should find out the cause of the hair loss.. Try to stop using Rogaine. If u were not shedding ur hair b4 using it.. Then its due to the chemicals that is sensative to your hair... i normally use natural products that is not harmful.... and my hair does not fall...
