Considering Face Injections

Hi all...before I get into my questions, I'll give you some back story:

I'm a 28 year-old male, 5'9", and am in great physical shape. Five years ago, however, I rapidly dropped from 165lbs to a skeletal 100lbs, but I returned to my normal weight 1.5yrs later. Although I'm happy with my body, every time I look in the mirror I am reminded of my drastic weight loss. I used to have naturally round cheeks (family trait) but now they are sunken and make me look sick and tired. It's reduced my self confidence and I'm not nearly as social as I used to be.

I am strongly considering fat injections into my cheeks (harvested from the abdomen) to return them to their former state, but I'd like to know if anyone here has a ballpark figure of the costs involved. Alternatively, I was considering implants since they seem to be 100% permanent. Is there substantial cost differential?

You can try Sculptra treatment which add volume to areas of the face which have suffered from fat loss.

the cost difference isn't really about what material you use, but what dr you go to. Fat grafting will cost anywhere from 50,000 to 2,000 for the fill face

You have several different cosmetic surgery options.
Fat transfer would cost about $1000 to $5000 (USD) per procedure, depending on where you have the work done. Fat grafting is used to fill in cheekbones, as you are looking to do. Make sure you talk to several cosmetic surgeons and get one who is experienced in fat injections, as you want them to look symmetrical.
Of the dermal fillers, Sculptra or NewFill can fill in hollows. Cost is from $900-$1600 per syringe, and of course how much you need depends on how much change you're looking for. Radiesse is another injectable filler. The results last a year or longer.
Augmentation with implants is another option. The cost will be higher, but the results will be permanent.
There's more information, with pages for all these procedures, at this site: Cosmetic Surgery and Procedures The site also has info on what to look for in a plastic surgeon, questions to ask, etc

I would suggest finding a facial plastic surgery. Since you may be able to have implants (cheeks, etc). But, there are injectables that could be helpful, is the main one these days Sculptra (www.sculptra.us/us/ to find a provider).. But also surgeons can do fat injections. Or some can do LiveFill which uses live tissue, so it is much better procedure, but it is only good for lines and the like not for large areas.
