peel) - use of laser to vaporize damaged skin
while leaving surrounding tissues undamaged; used to

- surgery on the cornea of the eye using heat energy
to treat farsightedness; abbreviated as LTK-
LASIK - laser-assisted
in-situ keratomileusis; eye surgery to treat or cure

Lipoma - benign fatty
tumor, often treated with excision or liposuction
Liposuction - removal
of fat lying under the skin through the use of a cannula
and vacuum
